Lowering the dropout rate and ensuring universal access

Implementation of new education policy will be implemented in the whole country from June

The National Education Policy 2021 implementation process will be initiated through the Ministry of Education to monitor progress from June 2021, and the focus is on implementing policy changes at the college and university level, according to sources. The central government has identified 181 tasks that will be completed by the new education policy, and governments in states such as Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Goa have set up task forces for these tasks. The task force of Karnataka has released its report where it has been suggested that this policy will be implemented in 2021, but so far the state and central governments have not given their advice on these recommendations.

Live Dashboard under New Education Policy

Implementation and Review Committee under NEP

Under the new education policy, an Implementation and Review Committee has been initiated through the Ministry and will be constituted by the Department of Higher Education. Through this committee, the policy will be thoroughly examined and at the same time, a task force will also be formed by the Government of Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Goa for Credit Bank System and IIT. If any negligence or deficiency is found in the implementation of the National Education Policy through the Central Government, then the state and district level officers will have to answer for this deficiency.
